The NetPanorama Editor

The quickest way to get started using NetPanorama is by using the interactive online editor.

You can select an example from the drop-down select menu or Show example gallery button, or enter a specification using the editor on the left.

Clicking on the Export button opens a modal window that gives the option to download the specification as a JSON file, download the image rendered from the specification as an SVG image, or copy a sharing link that will open the specification in the online editor.

A number of example datasets are provided. To visualize your own data in the editor, you can either:

  • serve the data from a web-browser (anywhere that is accessible from the machine on which you have opened the editor in a web browser), and load the data from a URL
  • use the Upload Data button to upload a CSV or JSON file, which will be stored in LocalStorage, and then load the data from LocalStorage

Clicking the View State button allows you to see aspects fo the current state such as imported data, networks, orders, and layouts.
