Intro

This sequence of example visualizations represent the character interaction network for Victor Hugo's novel Les Misérables.

Unlike the other sequences, the examples in this network are separate visualization types, rather than a sequence of iterative refinement to the same visualization type.

The specific types shown were chosen to match those in Table 1 of the paper GLO-STIX: Graph-Level Operations for Specifying Techniques and Interactive eXploration. To help comparison of the systems, the corresponding GLO specification from this table is also shown alongside the NetPanorama specification for a similar visualization.
